The mining industry is one of the most dangerous professions in the world. In a job like this it is absolutely vital to have easy access to vital tools, equipment, safety devices/kits, etc... Here at Cases By Masco, we were recently fortunate enough to help Kiewit Pacific design and create a custom mining case to meet their exact needs and much more.
The Project
- Customer Requirement – Design and create a custom miner case that would act as a safety kit. The case would house life saving devices and equipment for miners in underground mines should the situation call for it. Above anything else, this case had to be durable waterproof, crushproof, and dust proof so that the equipment inside retains its overall integrity when it is needed at any vital moment. Ultimate goal: locating a supplier who could make necessary recommendations, design and supply a custom case to meet all of their exact needs.

- Foam Type – Die cut and laminated Polyethylene (PE) custom foam insert.
